The massive stone rectangles that appear to flow out of the forest are from recent quarrying activities at this location. However, like most of the megalithic sites in China, there are multiple epochs of use for these quarries. This location is difficult to get to because of unfriendly vegetation. However, if you manage to get past the thorns and reach the top you will see the remnants of a vast ancient quarry with large stones, some still in situ, from a recent phase of quarrying. Wear pants when visiting this location.
